Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has re-joined the team after a self-imposed two-week absence. Bradford had been missing from Eagles practice since the team traded up to pick No 2 of the NFL draft to select quarterback Carson Wentz. The Eagles drafted Wentz less than two months after signing Bradford to a two-year, $35m (£25.3m) contract, prompting the 28-year-old to request a trade. Agent: Bradford wants trade Sam Bradfords agent confirms quarterback wants to leave Philadelphia Eagles Im excited to be back on the field today with my team-mates and coaches, Bradford said in a statement. The business-side of football is sometimes a necessary consideration. My attention and efforts are focused on the participation in and preparation for a championship season.I am committed to my teammates and the Eagles organization for nothing less. The Eagles have maintained all along they have no interest in moving Bradford. The Denver Broncos inquired about Bradford prior to the draft but were informed he was not available. At the time his agent Tom Condon said: Sam wants the opportunity to try and go someplace and not only be the starter, but also be the starter there long-term.Now Bradford has admitted defeat in his quest to be traded and returned to the team.Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has steadfastly maintained Bradford will be the teams starting quarterback next season though he did say the quarterback was missing valuable time by holding out.Pederson, who was offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs last season, is installing a new offence in Philadelphia after succeeding Chip Kelly. We thought it was going to be a long night if we kept playing like that, said Ryan Suter, who also scored. He was replaced by Zane McIntyre, who made his NHL debut just hours after being called up from AHL Providence.Dubnyk got his 20th career shutout and the first for the Wild this season.Thats what were looking for on the road, Dubnyk said. McIntyre took over and finished the rest of the game, stopping 15 of 17 shots. With starter Rask day-to-day and Khudobin out for several weeks, Boston coach Claude Julien said the Bruins didnt give their youngest goalies much help.I dont care whos in net, Julien said I think when you have some injuries you need to be better in those situations and we werent good enough tonight.Jason Zucker had a goal and two assists, Suter added an assist and rookie Joel Eriksson Ek got his first three NHL assists. Jason Pominville scored in the third period. The Wild bbroke the scoreless tie 5:07 into the second when Coyle tapped in his own rebound, then Minnesota struck again when Zucker slipped a pass from behind the net to Stewart, who hit a one-timer past Subban to put the Wild up 2-0.ddddddddddddo add on like that was important because we didnt have a letdown, Suter said. We got one and then we kept building on to that.Suter scored by one-timing a crossing pass from Matt Dumba just 5 seconds after Boston defenseman Adam McQuaid was called for cross checking.Fans mocked Subbans struggles by cheering McIntyre after a routine stop, but there was little else to cheer on the night. Zucker took a pass from Suter with 3:21 left in the second to give the Wild a 4-0 lead after two.You look at what you could have done and you cant dwell over it, Subban said.
